"With our propane buses, we don’t have to worry about NOx sensors, diesel particles, EGR filters, EGR valves or all the extra electrical components."

"We can have harsh winters. A lot of stress is gone when we don’t have to worry about whether the buses are going to start. With propane, we don’t have to go out Sunday afternoon or early Monday morn to make sure we can run the buses on Monday."

The Propane Education & Research Council is now offering a training and safety program for installing propane containers.

Available in The Learning Center, Installing Propane Containers cab help learners determine the factors that must be considered and activities that must be performed to install propane storage containers.

The program consists of four modules and should be taken by any employees who are involved in installing propane containers at residential, commercial, or industrial locations.

The program will also demonstrate the steps to:
• Install stationary & exchange propane containers up to 125 gal w.c.
• Install AG & UG ASME tanks greater than 125-gallon w.c. up to 2,000 gal w.c.
• Install AG & UG ASME tanks over 2,000 gal w.c.
