We’re kicking off the new year with several updated courses now available for propane professionals in the Learning Center. These programs can be great refreshers for longtime employees as well as helpful courses for new hires learning about propane safety for the first time.
In addition to the new courses, the Learning Center has other new features to help automate your training needs. Also, completed employee training certificates can now be downloaded and printed from the Learning Center.
- Dispensing Propane Safely. The popular course includes a refreshed design and new videos with updated curriculum detailing how to safely dispense propane into small cylinders, motorhomes and ASME tanks, and autogas equipment.
- Intro to the Propane Industry. This overview program helps new employees learn about the propane industry’s Safety Mission and specific actions to protect customers, employees, the public at large, and the environment. Common propane industry terminology will be discussed, as will other propane industry basics, including what propane is, where it comes from, how it’s stored, and even how it’s used today.
- Fundamentals of Propane. This course curriculum will help new employees understand the basics of propane, its chemical properties and characteristics, and more, so they can have more confidence working safety with propane every day.
